Jokla Parka Women
Qty:
Jokla is a parka, and a tool. The exterior of Jokla is made from a ruggedized Cordura nylon that was selected for its extreme durability and abrasion-resistance. A water-repellent coating, taped seams, and coated chest zippers make Jokla waterproof. Finally, over a pound of premium 800-fill white goose down keeps out the cold. Adjustments on the hood, waist, hem, and sleeves allow for personalized fit (or a spot of extra weatherproofing.) Reflective flashes, fifteen pockets, and a removable fox fur ruff provide further utility.
66°North is respected by guides, explorers, researchers, and film crews for making the world’s best parkas. When Arctic photographer Benjamin Hardman must stand still for hours to get one perfect shot, he relies on his Jokla.
All animal products used in 66°North products are ethically-sourced from audited suppliers. Our down comes from a long-time German supplier, who has been certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) Downpass, and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The fox fur used is VET-certified and comes from Saga Furs, a heritage Finnish fur supplier whose supply chain audits and animal welfare programs met our rigorous standards.
Please be advised that if Jokla’s fox fur ruff should get soaked, it should be carefully let dry at room temperature. Please also be advised that temperatures that produce rain may be too warm for Jokla.
Jokla is cut to be worn with a mid-layer, with this specific edition tailored to the needs of the modern woman. Those between sizes should size down. Please refer to the size guide to find your precise fit.
